This desk was exactly what I was looking for, and then some. For starters, when I ordered it (for a very reasonable price, if I do say so myself) I was told that my estimated delivery would be about a week. I bought it (along with an office chair to complement it) on a Saturday and received it on the following Tuesday! (The office chair I received that Monday.) Talk about perfect timing! [Thanks, Amazon!]Now, let's talk about the desk itself: it was a very simple build. Took a little less than an hour to fully assemble. It fits perfectly in the space I reserved for it, plus it has a pretty tall stance! I have to adjust my chair's sitting height a bit but I don't mind that at all. I'm an aspiring DJ so to have this desk to sit my equipment on & play my music for countless hours, that makes my experience with it beyond worthwhile!I honestly wanted an L-shaped desk but I kinda figured that would take up too much space. I may order another one to put more music equipment on.Overall, I'm very satisfied with my desk purchase. It exceeded every single expectation that I've had, and it still does to this day.I am starting completely fresh in a new place. Second floor apartment and specifically wanted something low cost that I could assembly myself (easier to get up the stairs). This was perfect. Extremely easy to put together, took maybe 30 min. (35 year old single mom). The wood color matches everything in my house almost perfectly. What it doesnt match is far enough away you cant tell. Very sturdy and my PC (NEVER put your pc on the carpet) plus dual monitors fit great. I purchased the 55".It is NOT real wood and you will need some sort of coaster or something under anything hot or cold, but the build in cup holder helps for sure.I am leary of furniture that you have to assemble after a few bad experiences with no instructions, poor instructions, or non-english instructions but I went ahead and gave it a shot anyway and well worth it! This desk was so easy for me to assemble all by myself (a 50+ year old woman). It is big enough for my laptop and 2 monitors. Should have done this 2 years ago!I got this as a 2nd desk. It's affordable and good for the price. The top feels very hard particle board, but that was expected. If you're looking for a nice wood feel, this is not it, but it looks nice and serves the purpose just fine. One caution: it is very heavy, especially when you first get it in the box at your door.Extra work space in kitchen.Efficiently packaged, with an Allen wrench included. There are a few extra screws added too. The construction was a bit off where you could not center one of the screws to one of the legs but that was just one out of more than a dozen, so, I don't suspect integrity of the table will be in question. The use of this table is 'fix it and forget it'.Top looks very elegant, simplistic design. The little hook for a headphone and pouch are a nice touch. Good product.Currently using it and it fits in my tight space. Holds my printer and still have room to workEasy to assemble and looks good. The storage pocket and headphone hook are incredibly handy! It wobbles a tiny bit when I type, but not to the point where it’s distracting. It’s also lightweight so easy to move if needed. Surface finish is solid and has not scratched for me. Fits perfectly in my space. I’m very happy with this item and the support I received from the seller!Sturdy and easy to assemble.This was perfect for its purpose. Fits well, it is easy to just assemble in less than 7 minutes. Sturdy and the surface is smooth.I loved everything about this desk! So easy to assemble. Can fold it up and put it away if you desire. It’s really aesthetically a beautiful desk. Great value for the price. Has a modern look. I am a grad student and find working at this desk so much easier than the kitchen table. If you’re hesitant, don’t be. I’m even considering a second one for my son.The desk I received was of such poor quality, I probably wouldn't buy it even it were to be offered for 1/4 the price.It was basically a plank of particle board sent to me along with a weak and wobbly iron frame. The four edges of the plank are completely unfinished and they're dropping wood dust all over the house. The plank did not easily fit on top of the frame. But, when I was finally able to fit the two together, the plank kept sliding in every direction and the frame kept wobbling. I wouldn't even feel safe putting a glass of water on this desk, let alone my laptop and/or my printer.The desk is really sturdy and was relatively easy to put together. It did take a little bit of fiddling to get the top on.PRO TIP: loosen the clips on the back of the desktop, fit the desktop onto the base and then tighten the screws on the clips.The base is not brass:In case you thought the base was brass coloured, it is not, it is painted in a mustard colour. It doesn't sound like a pleasant combo, but it works.
