It’s small enough that it isn’t in the way, but large enough to keep some small essentials.Bought this for my classroom as I did not want to be sitting at my desk all day (not allowed to move around per district cov19 guidelines). It is very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little taller. I am 5'4 and thought it could use another inch of 2. Plenty of my co-workers have asked where I got it from and were interested in buying their own.this is a great small desk for the price that I pain. It is compact and sturdy. takes about 35 minutes to put together. It is sturdy.Five minutes into using this desk and am already super happy I got it. It makes working standing up very comfy, and the foot rest is really nice to have.The only thing I wish is that the back level were also moveable. I had to still use several magazines and a yoga block to raise my laptop in order to work standing up. And I'm 5'3'', so not that tall.The assembly instructions were ok, except the order in which they make you do things is cumbersome. They have you add the top shelf at the end; however, since the screws are under the structure, by the time you have to to add the final shelf, you have to screw it in from under the desk, it's very uncomfortable. It would be much easier for the top to be the first thing you build. That way you can turn the whole structure upside down, screw the shelf laying on the ground, etc.I got this because I have limited space and had been storing a compact printer in a dresser drawer, and a laptop and chrome book under my bed. I was happy to find something that fit in a small corner of my bedroom. I was able to make it work and add extra storage to it. I put a monitor riser with drawers under my laptop. I also had to do this because I'm 5'9". The desk is definitely for short folks. I also sat a plastic drawer set underneath, on the bottom shelf. My complaints are with the workmanship; looks soldered by a child. The 2 panels for the desk don't line up perfectly, but it's not far enough off to cause a problem. I love that it's narrow and fits into the space I had available. Doesn't wobble and I feel confident leaving my laptop and printer unattended with my grandson running in the area. Extremely easy to put together and it was thoughtful of the seller to include additional screws AND a screwdriver and wrench. The movable shelf could have been deeper but that's a minor issue. The only flaw is the shelves don’t line up when the bottom is raised. Working on an adjustment to remedy that issue. For the price point, this desk is a winner and checks all the boxes. Glad I was able to purchase before it became unavailable.This desk isn't super sturdy, it creaks and makes noises when you're typing, and it's really short... I'm 5'11 and it won't work without a couple of books underneath in order to actually use it while standing. As another reviewer mentioned, the screws on the adjustable poles don't latch in anywhere so they just scratch up the paint. It's not the worst to look at and it would work great in small spaces for small people on a budget but it's a no for me. I think I'll spend a little more to get a nicer one that will last longer and actually serve as a stand-up desk.
