I had purchased another desk before this from a different company and the sturdiness was poor. The desk wobbled a lot horizontally whenever I typed and it was extremely distracting. I returned that desk and bought this one as it has a horizontal crossbar built-in for sturdiness. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it was. It is also a pretty cheap desk for what you get, so I highly recommend!I wouldn't say it fixes the problem, but it definitely helps and keeps maybe about 80% of stability. With the price, I will keep it and it is better than nothing. Perhaps I had too high of hope.This is more of a problem with the desk that I got rather than the bar itself and its intended purpose. It's mainly supposed to get rid of wobble if you don't have good support for the panel your desktop lays on. The Radlove's desk I have has a huge problem with vertical wobble due to the design of the desk having the thinner pieces of metal support the larger pieces of metal to be able to make it move. Right now to get the most stability I have to put the beam on the part that cover's up if I were to move it vertically, making it a pain to setup and take down. So if I were to keep it this would only help when the desk is not in a standing mode, or if you needed to mount additional objects to the desk without ruining the top due to the plethora of screw holes in it.This has essentially stopped any wobbling of the desk immensely. Sturdy and easy to install (for me at least) but some will need a second person to hold the sections in place while tightening.This is a MUST HAVE ADD-ON for anyone with a stand up desk. Since it is very adaptable and can change configurations, this may work on non-Vivo branded stand up desks as well if you have square posts.Works great for side to side rocking on my flexispot at any height.. Issue with install though was on the right side the 4 "sliding" bolts on the end that hold the clamp did have some issues, 2 of them did strip with the included hex key..I ended up having to dremel the bolts to get a big flathead in and was able to crank them loose.Aside from the cheap easily stripped bolts, easy and fast assembly and painless. Having it across my feet will take some getting used to but now I can stand and work well!Repurposed this to stiffen up lateral sway in our futon. We were planning on trashing it, but now thanks to this bar, it’s got a new lease of life.Fairly self explanatory installation. Oh and if you want extra turning force on the hand fasteners, the tops have a hole to take the allen key for extra tightening.Heavy and sturdy construction, I’ll probably increase the number of bolts in the middle of the beam from two to four for extra rigidity and supportViVO, the vendor, has one of the best customer supports I have ever experienced. Sure the whole process took a little longer since we were in totally different time zones, but throughout the process I never felt abandoned and, considering the different timezones, everything was still taken care of quickly and issue was resolved better than I could imagine. Awesome experience!This all you need to make any affordable sit stand desk just as good as the many overpriced Fully or Vari desk competitors!Funciona muy bien. It was well worth the investment and deserves the full 5 stars. I think should be a recommended accessory for most standing desks in the market. Highly recommended.
