So much nicer looking in person. My photo makes it look lighter than it is. Was a quick assemble for my husband but he likes assembling things. It’s more of a burnt hickory wood look with very very deep brown tones. The black metal legs are not exactly black, i would say they’re closer to a very dark gunmetal almost with a gray cast. Regardless we just built it last night so as far as how it holds up that’s yet to be determined. If any issues arise I’ll update my rating. The negative reviews must have just had a bad batch or something because for this price I’m very impressed & glad I didn’t get the $700+ desk from crate & barrel.The metal frame had us hopeful but the "drawers" were very flimsy and couldn't hold hardly anything. Sadly I did not read the other reviews first. Mismatched parts, missing parts. It was returned.Low quality product. Many screws did not fit properly and I needed to add paper inside the holes to get the screw tight.Overall it does not seem very sturdy and safe with my screen on it but it is coping. Hopefully it will not fall apart.Item arrived damaged. Box wasn’t damaged but table is damaged. That’s not niceI was slightly disappointed the desks looks nice apart from the scratches on the wood that I noticed as soon as I got it out of the box.Avoid this desk, quality is poor in my opinion.Im annoyed that this isnt the colour in the picture i don’t understand. Desk is a desk but now ima have to paint over it
